Eligibility criteria are provided within the Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship website. We encourage you to thoroughly read this and the Frequently Asked Questions before starting your application.

Criteria

Please note that you may be required to provide evidence of the below on request.

1. What is your Australian Citizenship Status? * Required

Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. You will be required to provide supporting documentation on request.
Applicants must have completed high school within the last two years.
3. Will 2025 be the first year you have enrolled in a tertiary program (vocational or higher education)? * Required

Applicants must have chosen to study at one of our five participating university partners. View the full list on our website.

Other
Students must enrol in an approved STEM-related degree at one of five partner universities. Applicants may enrol in a dual or double degree; however, this must occur from the point of application and include a STEM degree. Further information about eligible degrees can be located on each of our partner websites. At the time of applying you do not need a formal offer to your course of choice.
